The property's remarkable location boasts panoramic views that capture the vibrant landscape of Chianti, filled with rolling hills and lush vineyards. The villa itself, a splendid 17th-century building, has been meticulously restored to marry modern elegance with classic Tuscan architecture.

Guests at La Maccinaia 14 can relish in the luxury of al fresco dining on the enclosed veranda overlooking the heated, salt-water swimming pool (12x6 metres). The kitchen and dining areas are thoughtfully air-conditioned, ensuring comfort as guests cook and dine on the region's famed gastronomy.

The villa comfortably accommodates 10 to 12 guests in the main house, with air-conditioned bedrooms on the second floor including a spacious master suite with an en-suite bathroom featuring both a shower and separate bathtub. Two additional double bedrooms each come with en-suite bathrooms, sharing only the toilet facilities. The first floor and ground floor bedrooms offer private bathrooms, though they are not air-conditioned. The ground floor bedroom, perfect for families or teens, features a lofted twin bed setup for 2 to 4 guests and has its own separate entrance for added privacy.

The depandance, just steps away from the main house, adds sleeping arrangements for up to 6 more guests. It houses two ground floor bedrooms, one with twin beds and another with bunk beds suitable for children, while the air-conditioned double bedroom on the first floor provides a quiet retreat for adults.

Guests of La Maccinaia can enjoy the delights of a large, well-maintained vegetable garden, adding a taste of local produce to every meal. The estate's house manager is also on hand to arrange cooking services and classes, enhancing your culinary journey through Tuscany.

The estate's secluded location ensures peace and privacy, with an unpaved road adding to the rustic charm of your approach. La Maccinaia is perfectly positioned for wine enthusiasts and explorers alike, with easy access to renowned local wineries and the picturesque villages of Chianti. The historic city of Siena is just 35km away, making it an easy day trip.

Please note, pool heating is included from early May to the end of September. Outside these months, heating can be provided at an additional cost, ensuring a comfortable stay regardless of the season.

Main villa (for 10 - 12 people)
Ground floor:  Entrance, dining room, kitchen opening to outdoor eating area, powder room. From a separate entrance, twin bedroom with a loft with other 2 beds accommodating 2/4 guests, bathroom (shower).
1st floor: Study, sitting room, TV room, double bedroom, bathroom (shower).
2nd floor:  Master bedroom with bathroom (bath and separate shower); double bedroom with ensuite bathroom (shower); double bedroom with ensuite bathroom; these two rooms share a toilet.

Guest house (for 4 people)
Ground Floor: Twin bedroom, small, very basic bedroom with bunk beds (suitable only for kids), bathroom . Independent laundry room, covered veranda.
First Floor: Sitting room with kitchen corner opening onto a terrace with beautiful views, double bedroom with bathroom.

Maid service is included 3 hours a day, 5 days a week.
