Luxury villa Positano

Positano has been called the pearl of the Amalfi Coast for its particular beauty that makes it stand out from all the other localities along the coast. Dimora Amalfitana could be defined as one of the most beautiful residential pearls to be found along this stretch of coastline. Located in the upper part of Positano, it occupies a dominant position that offers a unique view of the town and the bay. From the large terraces it is possible to look down on the succession of typical multi-colored houses that climb down to the sea, as though from the bridge of a ship. Dimora Amalfitana dates back to 1700 and is one of the most elegant examples of Italian baroque: the ceilings on the “piano nobile” or main floor are sumptuously decorated and the stuccoes, typical of the period, are of the highest quality. During the first half of the 20th century the villa hosted some very famous European intellectuals and artists who were attracted by the charm of Positano and the mild climate that characterizes the bay.
The recent renovation work has restored the villa to its ancient splendor, transforming it into a prestigious holiday residence of the highest quality. The atmosphere and charm of this villa make it truly unique. It has all mod cons: Wi-Fi internet and air conditioning, spa with Turkish bath, sauna and a beautiful indoor swimming pool (8 x 3m). The spa is connected to the outdoor terrace which also has an ornamental-style whirlpool bathtub. There is an excellent chef service available to guests staying at the villa.
The villa is in the town of Positano where all the shops and restaurants are just a short walk away. It is not necessary to have a car, however, a parking space can be booked at an extra cost.

Access via pedestrian street

Ground floor: access to the villa from the panoramic terrace which is furnished for eating “al fresco”, kitchen, living room with fireplace and television, both with access to the same terrace.
Lowel floor: relaxation room with Turkish bath, sauna, showers, indoor swimming pool with whirlpool bathtub, massage area (1 massage couch), access to panoramic solarium-terrace with ornamental style whirlpool bathtub.
1st floor: 2 double bedrooms (master bedrooms) each of which has an en suite bathroom with shower and access to the panoramic terrace.
Mezzanine Floor: 1 small single bedroom; 1 bathroom with shower; access to garden at the back of the villa with gazebo and orchard.
2nd floor: 2 double bedrooms, each of which has an en suite bathroom with shower; one of the bedrooms has access to a small terrace.

Staff of 3 (kitchen service, table waiting service, cleaning service) for 8 hours a day from 8.30 a.m. to 1.30 p.m. and from 5.00 p.m. to 8.00 p.m. Gardener for 4 hours a day. Kitchen service included (food NOT included): upon arrival it will be necessary to pay 2,000 Euros in cash for supplies (food and drinks and any extra services requested). This amount will have to be supplemented during the stay if it is not sufficient. Porter service for luggage during check-in and check-out available from 8.00 a.m. to 6.00 p.m.
