Gran Burrone is a comfortable farmhouse with a private pool situated in a small 11th-century hamlet close by Lucca with beautiful views on the landscapes of Garfagnana, a very attractive and still unspoiled region north of Lucca. This is an ideal getaway for those fond of hiking who love exploring pretty villages and Romanian churches.

The holiday house sleeps up to 6 guests, it has 3 bedrooms all with their private bathroom. The owner has furnished the house thinking about all the comfort required by travelers to fully enjoy their vacation; there is also a relaxing room with jacuzzi on the ground floor.

The house has been restored with respect to its original structure using antique materials, mad-made cotto floors, and beamed ceilings. As hamlet was a former base for pilgrims and Templar Knights on their journey to the "Terra Santa" (Holy Land), the 'knight theme' was used by the owner to furnish the dining room with original metal armors and decorations.

The swimming pool (3,5 x 10 m) has been placed on the most panoramic point on the estate, granting stunning views. Next to the swimming pool, there is a large dining table under a beautiful pergola where to enjoy al-fresco dining.

The house parking is 180 meters from the house, hence clients will need to walk 3 minutes to reach this beautiful property. Please note that the neighbor has a cat that may come around during your stay. Thus we do not recommend this property to those allergic to cat dander.
