Casa Fontegenga is a charming villa set in the peaceful hills of Le Marche in the province of Pesaro and Urbino. Surrounded by nature and countryside, the property offers a tranquil retreat away from crowds and noise, making it an ideal place for relaxing holidays with family or friends.

The villa is located at the end of a small country road and the entire property is fenced, ensuring privacy and a quiet environment away from traffic.

Originally a farmhouse dating back to 1770, Casa Fontegenga was completely rebuilt in 2018 while preserving the original stones and the traditional architectural style typical of rural houses in the Marche region. Today the house combines historic character with modern comfort.

The interior is designed in an elegant Ethno-Chic style, using natural colours and materials that blend harmoniously with the surrounding landscape.

From the property guests enjoy impressive 360-degree views across fields, vineyards and the rolling hills of northern Le Marche.

The building structure ensures comfortable temperatures throughout the year. Thick exterior walls, triple-glazed aluminium windows and mosquito screens in every room help keep the house cool in summer and warm during cooler seasons.

Located in the middle of nature, Casa Fontegenga was designed and build with sustainable material and energy efficient systems. The villa is fully powered by solar energy with thermic solar panels for hot water, floor and pool heating and photovoltaics panels with a battery for all electrical appliances. It can operate without gas combining modern technology with an environmentally conscious approach. 
In terms of safety, the garden is fully fenced and the entrance door is operated with a remote control. In case you have visitors, we of course have a videophone.

The garden surrounding the villa is spacious and filled with Mediterranean vegetation. Olive trees grow alongside fruit trees such as cherry and walnut trees.

The pool area is one of the highlights of the property. The private swimming pool measuring 4 × 12 metres offers the perfect place to swim and cool off during warm summer days. An Italian-style outdoor shower provides additional comfort.

Next to the house there is a large covered terrace with a dining table for up to ten guests. A lounge area, a gas barbecue with Teppanyaki/plancha plate and pizza stone, as well as an additional stone charcoal barbecue, create an ideal setting for outdoor cooking and dining.

Unlimited internet access is available throughout the property.

Casa Fontegenga is located about 3 km from the medieval village of Mombaroccio. The Adriatic coast can be reached in less than 30 minutes by car. The historic towns of Fano and Pesaro are approximately 22 km away, while Urbino lies about 36 km from the property.

The region offers a wide variety of excursions and cultural experiences. Highlights include the Rossini Opera Festival in Pesaro in August and the famous autumn truffle fairs in Acqualagna and Pergola.

Nature lovers will appreciate nearby attractions such as the Frasassi caves, the Furlo gorge, the Monte San Bartolo natural park, the Sibillini Mountains and the white beaches of Monte Conero.

The area is ideal for hiking, cycling, mountain biking and horse riding. In winter, Monte Catria and the Sibillini Mountains also offer opportunities for cross-country skiing and winter sports.

Le Marche is also known for its outstanding gastronomy, from traditional family-run trattorias to excellent Michelin-starred restaurants.

Casa Fontegenga is therefore an ideal base for exploring the landscapes, culture and cuisine of this beautiful region of Italy.

Ground floor with a large master bedroom with a bathroom with shower, double sink, separate toilet and a KingSize double bed (180x200). Toilet for guests, a laundry area with washing machine and dryer available to guests. The living area consist of a spacious living room (with open fire, satellite TV, DVD player, a Marshall Bluetooth portable speaker), a dining-room with a large table for 12 people, and an open kitchen fully equipped with American fridge (ice dispenser and filtered fresh water), Induction cooking, oven and microwave, coffee machine for Nespresso capsules, dishwasher.

First floor with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms: a Master Bedroom with a King-Size bed (180x200cm), shower, sink and a separate toilet,
