Although Venice is known all around the world, Veneto is more than just Venice. In Veneto, many of the big cities are real tourist magnets. Concerts and operas are still held there today.
Lake Garda is also nearby. With almost 400 km2 it is Italy's largest lake and offers many leisure activities for tourists, such as water sports.
