The Villa Baronessa is a holiday villa in South Tyrol, on the edge of the historic center of the wine village of Kaltern am See.

In the middle of a Mediterranean garden, surrounded by vineyards, and yet in the middle of the intact historic town center, you can spend an unforgettable holiday in a charming landscape, between high-quality architecture, art in construction and modern comfort.

What was originally a garden house of an aristocratic palace has been lovingly renovated by the architect Prof. Walter Angonese and the artist Manfred A. Mayr with great sensitivity and in accordance with the strictest energy and ecological standards.

The highlight of the outdoor area is the environmentally friendly infinity pool (9m x 3,5m) that can be used by you alone and is heated from Easter to the end of October if required. You swim in chlorine-free brine that is permanently cleaned by means of salt electrolysis.

The villa welcomes you in a unique ambience that combines high quality design (Plank, Rossin, Flos, Roberti rattan) with local materials and traditional craftsmanship.

Of course, the house offers all the comforts of modern living: WiFi, air conditioning, washing machine, dishwasher, induction hob, flat screen TV, fireplace, outdoor grill, bath towels, bathrobes, etc.

In this extraordinary wine region of Italy, a private wine cellar should of course not be missing.

The house has a grill corner and a herb garden.

Villa Baronessa is on the outskirts of the center and the various shops, restaurants, bars as well as an ice cream parlor, bakery, butcher, pharmacy, vinotheque and public bus stop can be reached in just 2-3 minutes on foot; nevertheless your privacy is not disturbed.

On request: massages / physiotherapy treatments, cook for special evenings, tasting of South Tyrolean wines with the host

Ground floor: In the center of the villa is the spacious dining and living area, which is flooded with sunlight and equipped with comfortable sofas, a large dining table and a cozy fireplace. The adjoining, fully equipped modern kitchen with cooking island extends outwards onto a terrace that is covered by a pergola designed by the artist Manfred Mayr. Here you can have breakfast in the sun, lunch in the shade and dinner at sunset.
