Holiday villa directly on Lake Como
Casa el Lago is a luxury holiday home in the small village of Rezzonico, on the west bank of Lake Como, north of Menaggio.
From the house you can enjoy a breathtaking and unrestricted view of the lake. The villa is right next to the historic Castello Rezzonico, which was originally built in the 14th century by the De la Torre family. The villa itself dates from the early 20th century. The major renovation was completed in 2020 and offers luxurious facilities and functions. At the same time, the historic ambience of the house has been preserved - for example, most of the original floors have been renovated and now shine in new splendor.
The holiday home Casa al Lago is the perfect place for families and friends to enjoy unforgettable days in peace.
It has 4 double rooms, each with its own bathroom, an attic where up to 7 children / teenagers can sleep and play, a well-equipped kitchen and a large living room as well as a spacious garden terrace on the lake with a breathtaking view of the lake and the adjacent mountains and a private garden on several levels.
A fully equipped modern kitchen that is fun to cook in. Kitchen equipment: kitchen with gas stove, oven with microwave, dishwasher, fridge and freezer and barista coffee machine. A washing machine and dryer are also standard with us.
A large open fireplace right next to the large oak dining table and a cozy living area make the room a place where you want to spend many hours. Enjoy music or films on the BOSE sound system: each of your own devices can be conveniently connected to it if you wish. Stable WiFi is of course available in all rooms. Everything has been set up so that you feel comfortable.

Unforgettable views - Enjoy the large terrace on the lakeshore with a 270 ° unspoilt view of the lake, as far as Bellagio, Varenna, Bellano and Dervio as well as the mountain backdrop of Monte Gringa, Monte Legnone and the Bergamo Alps. Watch the sailboats go by as you enjoy breakfast on the sun-drenched terrace or set up your barbecue while the evening lights are reflected in the lake on the far bank. The terrace also has an electric sun awning to protect you from the heat in the hotter months. On the first floor the villa offers a balcony under the vines where you can enjoy a glass of wine with a view of the lake and the beautifully manicured grounds and the garden of the Castello Rezzonico. The garden by the lake is a private oasis on several levels, which are provided with historical natural stone walls. Relax under palm trees and Mediterranean plants.

Beautiful village on Lake Como
The Casa al Lago is very quietly located on the edge of the Malian village of Rezzonico, with small, narrow streets. There is also a small path below the terrace that leads to a neighboring house and is used by this couple.
After about 120m you can reach the small beach via a small footpath. Let your children play at the mouth of the small river, get on a stand-up paddle or lie in the sun.
Just a stone's throw from the house you can dine in our favorite restaurant: the Trattoria Pizzeria Dei Platani or buy bread, cheese, vegetables or other small supplies in the traditional local Alimentari.
If you feel like exercise, the former narrow street, which is now closed to vehicles, invites you to jog directly on the lake.
Most of the traffic goes through a bypass / tunnel behind Rezzonico so you won't be disturbed.
The village itself is still considered a secret oasis away from the crowded places of Lake Como. Stroll through the narrow historical streets or sit down on the small harbor front and breathe real Italian tradition!
For larger errands or activities, you can reach the busy and touristic Menaggion with cafes, restaurants and boutique in less than 10 minutes by car.
You can park your car in Rezzonico about 80 meters from the house in a public parking area; the last 80 meters to the house can only be reached on foot.
