Villa Falcone is located just 5 km from Stresa and 2 km from Lake Maggiore, in an exceptionally beautiful and peaceful setting with unobstructed views of the lake and surrounding hills.
From the spacious terrace and almost every room, the view opens onto the shimmering water – nothing but the chestnut trees below the property and the lake stretching into the distance.

A true highlight is the 14 x 5 m infinity pool (depth 1.40 m), whose water seems to flow seamlessly into Lake Maggiore – a magical place where sky and lake merge.

The main terrace with lounge and dining area is ideal for admiring the panorama or watching the changing evening light over the lake.

Below the pool, tall chestnut trees frame the landscape and lead the eye toward the water.

Surroundings and location

Stresa, just 5 km away, is one of the most elegant towns on Lake Maggiore, with its palm-lined promenade, grand villas and famous Belle Époque hotels.
From here, the Borromean Islands (Isola Bella, Isola Madre, Isola dei Pescatori) are easily reached – a highlight of the region.

Milan is about 90 km away, Novara 80 km – ideal for a day trip or a comfortable arrival.

Short stays in April, May, October and November: Just a long weekend? Minimum 4 days, no problem. 1,330 euros per day.

– On the upper floor (street level) is a bright and modern furnished, air-conditioned living room composed of a sitting area with TV, a dining area with large table, a fully equipped kitchen, and access to a panoramic balcony and terrace. This floor also provides three air-conditioned bedrooms: two bedrooms with double bed and lake view, one bedroom with 2 single beds, and two bathrooms (one with shower, one with bathtub).
– On the lower floor (garden level) is a second spacious living area with a scenic wooden table and little kitchen, sitting corner with TV, bedroom with double bed, bedroom with 2 single beds and a bathroom with double sink and shower. The two bedrooms only have a light well window. Laundry area with laundry room with washing machine and separate 

Air conditioning in the living room and in all bedrooms except one (the twin bedroom) on the lower floor, which stays pleasantly cool.

Three garages are available for guests.

We had a great day on a private boat on Lake Maggiore seeing the sites and visiting the islands! Swimming in the lake!

Sunday Market in Cannobio was good but go early to park and miss the traffic!

We truly enjoyed our stay in this beautiful villa with its amazing, ever-changing view over the lake. The wonderful and well-kept garden added to the charm and made the setting unforgettable!

During the week we visited Stresa, Arona, the islands of Lake Maggiore and Locarno in Switzerland. Vallana Winery was also fantastic – one of the best wine tasting experiences we’ve ever had.

What a wonderful week at Villa Falcone!

The views are amazing and the house is superb. We have loved the pool, the outside space and drinking wine watching the sun go down and the moon rising. We have had fantastic meals in Stresa and a lovely private dining at the villa. Boat trips to the islands and the Centovalli train to Locarno have been a highlight.

The weather has been superb, sometimes super hot but the pool and the aircon have saved us!

Thank you Elena for being a wonderful host and making us feel so welcome. We have visited Italy a lot in recent years but Lake Maggiore is a new favourite but we will be careful not to shout about it too much – it preserves its comparative tranquility & beauty!
