Villa Orsi is a remarkable luxury villa located directly on the shores of Lake Maggiore in Cannero Riviera. Built in 1905, the villa originally served as the residence of the industrial family behind the company “Spazzole Verbania”.

After more than a year of meticulous restoration, the property has been returned to its former elegance. The villa’s nearly four-metre-high ceilings and historic architecture have been carefully preserved while modern comforts were thoughtfully introduced. Original frescoes have been uncovered and alterations from the 1960s and 1970s removed, restoring the authentic character of the house.

The exclusive three-storey villa stands on a 3,400 m² property directly by the lake and the marina of Cannero Riviera.

Villa Orsi accommodates up to ten guests in four double bedrooms and two single bedrooms, complemented by four bathrooms and an additional guest WC on the ground floor.

The interiors combine restored original furniture with high-end designer pieces from brands such as Baxter, Cattelan, Twils and Gervasoni. A modern kitchen equipped with the latest appliances ensures comfort and convenience during your stay. A baby cot and high chair are available upon request.

At the rear of the house, a large terrace invites guests to relax and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. Beneath it, a shaded portico with a large dining table provides a perfect place for outdoor meals even during the warmest summer days.

The property features a classic Italian garden arranged symmetrically and filled with Mediterranean plants. Roses, magnolias, citrus trees, palms, camellias and hydrangeas create a beautiful landscape, while ancient trees in the park area provide shade and character.

The private swimming pool (9 × 4 m) is set within the park overlooking Lake Maggiore. Eight sun loungers and two large parasols offer comfortable spaces for relaxation.

Beneath a magnificent camphor tree more than one hundred years old stands a long solid wooden table with benches – an atmospheric setting for outdoor dinners on warm summer evenings.

The driveway is located on the north-east side of the property and leads through an electric gate to private parking spaces for two to three cars. Additional parking spaces can be rented in a nearby parking garage. From the parking area, the villa can be reached comfortably via a gravel path.

Villa for 10 people: 6 bedrooms (4 doubles and 2 singles), 4 bathrooms

First floor: large, comfortably furnished living room (36 m2) with a warming bioethanol fireplace. The ceiling paintings from the
turn of the century and the old terrazzo floor give this room a classic, elegant touch. A library with a selection of books, a large flat screen television
with AppleTV and a Geneva sound system with Bluetooth interface and DAB+ radio provide contemporary entertainment. The house and garden are covered by powerful WiFi. The Orsi family's newly renovated pianoforte invites you to play.
A colorfully glazed conservatory (18 m2) with sofa and armchairs and the adjoining dining room (23 m2) offer ample space for all guests. Direct access to the kitchen and elegant cupboards accessible from both sides add to the comfort. The well-equipped kitchen has a modern design and is equipped with two ovens
(incl. microwave), a large food center as well as a dishwasher, Nespresso machine and milk frother.

Second floor: here are the two bedrooms Emilia (17 m2) and Salvatore (25 m2), the latter with a breathtaking view of the lake. Both bedrooms have direct access to the bathroom between them, which is equipped with a large shower, washbasin, WC and bidet. The small balcony offers a picturesque view of the garden and park.
The Ambra suite has a bedroom with balcony (15 m2) and a living room (21 m2), which also offers a view of the marina and the lake. The second bathroom with shower, washbasin, WC and bidet is located at the end of the hallway. The large terrace (40 m2) is equipped with Fermob garden furniture and two parasols and offers plenty of space for quiet, lazy afternoons.
Second floor: On the west side is the Arlecchino suite (36m2), which also combines two rooms into one large space. Two carefully restored antique beds (joined to form a comfortable double bed) with matching wardrobe, combined with comfortable, modern lounge furniture, give this suite a very special charm.

The two single rooms Angelo and Lucilla (18 and 20 m2) with views of the park and lake complete the range of rooms on this floor. The small windows in the attic provide sufficient light in summer, but are supplemented by two skylights in each room. There are also two bathrooms on this floor. One is identical to its placeholder on the second floor, the other has a large shower and a free-standing bath, both with washbasin, WC and bidet. Depending on your needs, this floor can accommodate your own staff or staff hired for the duration of the rental period.
Cellar: here you will find the large wine fridge with a selection of local white and red wines for individual purchase. A large laundry room with washing machine, tumble dryer and ice cube machine is also available to guests.

In the house you will find a selection of games such as Scrabble, chess, board games and Jass and playing cards. Croquet, badminton, beach ball and boccia are available for entertainment in the garden.

Villa directly on the lake

Right next door is the Hapimag water sports center, where pedal boats, kayaks and SUPs can be rented. On request, a motorboat (with or without a license) or jet ski can be organized from a local boatyard. If you have your own boat, we can arrange a berth in the harbor on the doorstep.
Just a few steps away is the Cannero Tennis Club. For golfers there is a 9-hole course in Verbania (23 km) and at a cool 1,000 meters above sea level in Premeno, the Pian di Sole golf course with a fantastic view of Lake Maggiore (26 km) and a little further away, also beautiful, the Golf Club Alpino di Stresa (39 km).
The Golf Club Patriziale Ascona (26 km) and the Golf Club Gerre, Losone (24 km) are also within easy reach.

Villa Orsi is located in the center of Cannero Riviera. This pretty, Mediterranean village offers shopping facilities in the immediate vicinity as well as a selection of good restaurants and hotels.

The indicated price is a package price consisting of rental price, consumptions and services (laundry, cleaning, management and guest services, pool cleaning etc.) on site

Towels, pool towels and bed linen are included in the package price. Electricity, water, gas for heating, cleaning of the floors and bathrooms, the pool and garden every Wednesday and the final cleaning of the villa. A housekeeper and/or private chef can be arranged on request.

A welcome gift with various foodstuffs, soft drinks and a few bottles of wine is offered to guests by the owners on arrival.
