Le Marche is still a relatively undiscovered part of Italy and Casa delle Marche is ideally located to enjoy the beauty and treasures of this region.
Casa delle Marche is a blend of authentic and modern. The natural colours chosen for the decoration are the perfect match for the original stonewalls and wooden elements still in place. The gorgeous kitchen and bathrooms are the answer to the minimalistic yet welcoming living and sleeping quarters.
Two natural stone terraces create both an outdoor dining room and lounge, with lovely views over vineyards and hills. The pizza oven and barbecue are ready to be lit for lunch or dinner. For breakfast, there is a bakery service every morning if desired. As for the large private pool with a separate part for small children, it offers both shaded and sunny areas to relax after a swim. The spacious garden is adorned with many plants, among them fruit and olive trees, as well as vines. The hammocks hanging from some of these trees beckon you... Simply surrender and enjoy an afternoon of dolce vita.
Casa delle Marche offers a peaceful stay to its guests, but picturesque Italian villages and the sea are practically on its doorstep. Barchi, with its eating and food shopping facilities, is only 3,5 km away. Fossombrone (10 km) has a great market and Fano, blessed with one the most fabulous beaches on the Adriatic Coast, is waiting for you a mere 23 km away.
A review of a guest: "I do not know where to start my praise! It is truly heaven on earth. As soon as we drove down the narrow track and passed the gate we knew it was our choice of a lifetime. The house stands proudly and isolated on its own land with 360° views all around into the smooth hilly landscape of Le Marche. Nothing spoils the view - no neighbors around (we had long nights playing music - we hand our own musicians in the company - and dancing) the center of our activities was the huge dining table that served breakfasts, aperitifs and sumptuous dinners prepared either in the state of the art kitchen on the BBQ or in the Pizza Oven. The rooms are to die for (in) and it was a difficult task to get out of the comfortable beds and move outside as the inside is too artsy beautiful and stylish . As the weather was always so perfect we kind of neglected the inside living spaces and only occasionally lingered in the Le Corbusier LC4 chaiselongue . Hanneke (manager) was extremely helpful and her hospitality was second to none - as was Ingers (owner) - i chatted to her occasionally and her sense of humor just matches mine. The villages all around are unspoiled by tourism and we roamed the local markets came home with our treasures and prepared delightful dishes - aperitivo by the poolside! A real task was to find a pizza shovel (and explain in italian) which was about the only tool not available in the otherwise perfect household (now there is one - we left it there to please our fellow followers) . I envy all the lucky people who's holidays are still to come. "
