Cascina delle Langhe, a 150 year old farmhouse, today a peaceful holiday house in Piedmont.
Daily life moves around the living room and the kitchen with direct access to the courtyard. The kitchen has a wonderful barbecue grill.
The 3 bedrooms of the house are on the 1st floor.
In addition, there is an apartment with a separate entrance. Here you will find a living room with kitchen and a bathroom. Open gallyer with 2 beds.
A shady portico is complemented by a sunny veranda. The private pool on the lower terrace is 14x3 meters (1.5 m deep), from where you have a magnificent view of the "Langhe". Take a walk through our 3-hectare nature park and take breaks in the seating areas with benches along the way.
The beautiful village of Castino, just a few minutes' walk away, has a grocery, gourmet shop with homemade pasta, restaurant, slow food pizzeria, café-bar shop, post office and "Tabaccaio".
The white truffle capital Alba is only 20 km away. On Tuesday / Thursday there is a marketplace in the open air and on Saturday a larger one. There are exclusive clothing stores and some starred restaurants. Wine tours are offered throughout the region.

The famous wine regions around Barolo and Barbaresco are 30 minutes away
Asti is 40 km away and offers a large market on Saturday mornings.
Acqui Terme: 35 km away is very charming and has been providing wellness for 2000 years. It has a beautiful old town and the Roman sources.
Turin is 1.5 hours and Milan 2 hours away. The sea in Liguria can be reached also in something more than 1 hour.
The holiday home can be rented from any day. There is no Saturday-Saturday rule.

Good evening,
we did spend a wonderful week in Castino and just had the best time.
We went with our whole family and the setting couldn‘t have been more perfect for us all. The house, courgeous garden and pool was perfect and fulfilled our needs in any aspect. We did some great excursions to Alba, had drinks in Neive, visited Aqui (some by bike!!) etc. A great area, with so many options and a perfect location in every way - will be back!
