This 16th century property is an outstanding villa with a private swimming pool restored to a high standard and furnished with many comforts such as air conditioning in all the bedrooms, a well-equipped kitchen, wi-fi connection and an ozonator for sanitizing.

Villa Igea is ideal for discerning groups, who appreciate high quality comfort in a secluded environment. The property is set in a quiet location, high in the hills northwest of Lucca, with spectacular views over the surrounding scenery. A very well maintained garden encircles the house and a big centuries old oak tree provides a shady area, perfect for “al fresco” meals. On the other side of the villa, there is a charming Italian style garden and a bowling green.

The property can sleep up to 13 people and it is divided in two units: the main building sleeping 8 people and its adjacent house sleeping 5 people. There are seven air conditioned bedrooms each with its own bathroom.

This Italian villa is ideally located for those looking to relax in the countryside as well as being able to visit Tuscany and its attractions. The beautiful walled city of Lucca can be reached in approximately a 20-minute drive, the historical villas of Lucca open to visitors can be reached in a 30/40 minute drive and in less than an hour all the main towns of the Versilia coast with their beautiful shops, great restaurants and art exhibitions. Furthermore, there is an extensive list of day trips that clients can do when staying at the villa; from visiting the magnificent monuments in Florence, to enjoying some wine in one of the most renowned wineries in Tuscany or enjoying the wild and unspoiled nature in the Southern part of Tuscany, Maremma.

Cooking services are available on request and the multilingual house manager
is available to support clients during their stay. She lives about 80 meters from the villa but in no way she interferes with the client's privacy. The property has its own olive grove, producing fine organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil under its own label.

To remark: The property can be rented for 8 people only in low season. In Mid and high season it is only possible to rent the entire house (for 13 guests).
The owners have kept two farmhouses on the same estate for their own use that are distant from Villa Igea and not very often occupied.

This imposing terracotta-coloured villa dating back to the 16th century has changed hands and is now being rented with its neighbouring farmhouse. The property can sleep up to 13 people and is therefore ideal for a group of friends or families. Both houses have their own, particularly well-appointed kitchen.
The interiors have been beautifully renovated in the respect of their traditional toscan features and modernised for the comfort of the guests.
Set on an estate producing its own olive oil and benefiting from a wonderful panorama, the property is very peaceful but close to Lucca.
The garden is absolutely beautiful and offers a lovely swimming pool (12 x 6 metres), an eating area under a secular oak tree, a gorgeous terrace and an outdoor chessboard.
The owners occasionally live in two other farmhouses on the same estate but do not disturb their clients' privacy.

Maid service is included in the price 5 hours a day, 5 days a week.
