A place of peace – right by the sea in southern Tuscany

Villa Lantana enjoys an exceptional location directly by the sea, surrounded by a large private park with old pine trees, palms and wide lawns.
From the garden, a gate leads straight onto the Spiaggia Bengodi beach – no road, no path in between, just the sea and the sound of the waves.

Here you feel the calm and openness of the Tuscan coast: nothing but the sound of the sea and the wind in the trees.
The view over the sea and the small coastal village of Talamone, picturesquely set on a headland, accompanies you from breakfast under the pines to the evening light by the water.

History and Tuscan character

About sixty years ago, the current owner bought the then-abandoned farmhouse and, with great dedication, transformed it into a villa by the sea.
To this day, it retains its original charm – with large living rooms, a spacious kitchen with open fireplace and lovingly preserved details.
This is not a place of modern design, but of authenticity, history and life by the sea.

Garden, sea and Mediterranean atmosphere

At the heart of the property lies the extensive park, with mature trees, flowering shrubs and many shaded corners perfect for reading, resting or simply enjoying the stillness.
In May the roses are in bloom, in summer new flowers appear – the garden changes with the seasons and always remains a place of beauty and calm.

A special highlight is the large dining table under the pergola, perfect for long meals outdoors with a view of the sea.
On a lower terrace there is a small pool (7 x 4 m), ideal for children and harmoniously integrated into the garden landscape.

Location and surroundings

The villa is located in Fonteblanda, a small village with shops for daily needs (1.3 km).
Only 5 km away lies the coastal town of Talamone, with its harbour, restaurants and cafés – a popular spot for sailors, wind- and kitesurfers.

The area belongs to the Maremma, a natural landscape of sea, pine forests and olive groves – perfect for walks, cycling or excursions to the hot springs of Saturnia or to Monte Argentario.
