Le Vigne is a comfortable air-conditioned property with a private swimming pool. This property is within walking distance of a village (Colle di Compito); where guests can find a restaurant (400m), a shop, a bar, a pharmacy, a tennis court. A short drive away (approximately 15 minutes by car) travelers can reach Lucca city centre. Moreover, the convenient and easily accessible position of Le Vigne is ideal for visiting Tuscany, being only a few km away from the motorway exit it is possible to reach Florence, Pisa, the beaches of Versilia within a very short drive.

The owners have carefully selected traditional features such as terracotta floors and beamed ceilings while equipping it with all modern comforts requested by travellers such as satellite TV, music system, well-equipped kitchen and air-conditioning.

The house sleeps up to 4 guests. The two bedrooms, a double and a twin, are located on the first floor and share a bathroom. On the ground floor there are the kitchen and the living room both opening onto the garden. These two floors are equipped with air-conditioning in order to allow guests to fully enjoy the property during the warmest days of summer. On the lower ground floor there is a billiard room and a bathroom with shower.

For larger groups, it is possible to rent Le Vigne adding the twin bedroom situated on the lower ground floor.

The well-kept exterior area has been equipped with the same attention as the interiors. Being the large flat garden fenced Le Vigne is ideal for families traveling with young children. The wide covered veranda, furnished with table, chairs and outdoor furniture,overlooks the pool and allows parents to keep an eye on their children. The swimming pool can be heated on request (at extra cost) thus Le Vigne is well suited also for off-season rentals.

The city of Lucca can offer an authentic and unforgettable experience like few other towns of its kind. It is known for some of Italy’s finest medieval and Renaissance architecture and, above all, is known for its grand 16th-century walls that protect the whole city. The area where Le Vigne is located is renowned for the yearly exposition of the ancient Camellias of Lucchesia, which populate the local villages rich in traditions, with typical summer sagre, up-hill medieval hamlets, ancient towers and Romanesque churches.
