La Melusina is a stone structure from the early nineteenth century, a magnificent example of rural architecture in the Marche, a secret region of Italy; recently renovated strictly maintaining the typical style of the farmhouses of the Marche countryside and preserving the original stones, in particular you will find an ancient sculpture placed on an architrave that depicts the mythological creature "LA MELUSINA", an expression of true freedom, from which the house takes its first name;

It is located in Contrada Fanà, just 2 km from the town of Comunanza, halfway between the Sibillini mountains and the Adriatic coast with its golden beaches with fine sand; the highway or railway station is 30 km away;

The house is surrounded by land for truffle harvesting and you can also enjoy a lush garden with ancient olive trees, fruit trees and take advantage of the products of the organic garden. There are large spaces dedicated to relaxation with an equipped patio including an eat-in kitchen and fireplace surrounded by seating, a place enclosed within the walls like a secret garden where you can relax and admire the majesty of the Sibillini mountains with Monte Vettore cut into the horizon.

The solarium area with salt water infinity pool equipped with sun loungers and deck chairs from which to admire the sunset, perhaps accompanied by cheerful aperitifs; the outdoor area has a shower with hot water; for those who love cooking and grilling, you can take advantage of the outdoor area dedicated to the bbq with a wood-burning oven, a fireplace for grilling and finally, dug into the rock there is a cellar with a wine cellar; you can also organize unforgettable dinners and cooking classes with a private chef at home, all guaranteed by peace and tranquility while having access to the main road that leads in a few minutes to the main services such as supermarkets, banks, restaurants.

Please note that in 2023 there will be no hot tub available but in this area a part will be covered to be used in case of rain and a living area with fireplace and kitchen and part open plan with a centuries-old olive tree. All with a breathtaking view of Monte Vettore.

By car in half an hour you can reach the most important historical cities of Ascoli Piceno and its marvelous Piazza del Popolo - known as Il Salotto d'Italia; San Benedetto del Tronto with the famous Riviera delle Palme and its beaches, Fermo with the Cathedral that dominates the entire valley of the Tenna river, Macerata and its spectacular Sferisterio Theater and Offida, the city of the tombolo and of the historic villages. For sea lovers, in addition to the beaches of the Adriatic coast, a visit to Ancona, the regional capital, is recommended, where it is possible to swim in the clear waters of the Conero Riviera, enjoy the beauty of its cliffs overlooking the sea and pebble beaches. and organize boat trips. From La Melusina it is easy to participate in village festivals and interesting events that take place throughout the year and especially in the summer; you can taste the traditional cuisine of the Marche in the taverns with typical products or in the restaurants; moving along the coast you can taste  good fish.
The territory also offers the opportunity to buy genuine products at zero km in organic farms and make visits to wineries, wine bars and participate in themed tastings and finally you can devote yourself to shopping at the outlets of well-known brands in the area from clothing to footwear.
