This beautiful villa in Le Marche is surrounded by green hills, only 17 km from the Adriatic coast. It is a holiday villa that has been completely renovated to a luxurious holiday home.
The villa is spread over 2 floors of 200 m2 and a guest house of 160 m2. On the ground floor of the villa is the large, bright living room with 3 terraces to the beautiful, flower-filled garden with 3 old olive trees. The private pool 5x12 meters has different depths (between 1.40 meters and an area for children that is only 50 cm deep). The completely fenced garden is 5,000 m2 and you can enjoy a 360 degree view.
Villa Morrovalle has satellite TV with international TV programs, Bang & Olufsen stereo and free Wifi.
The side house is a great extra space with high ceilings, an additional kitchen and ideal for chill-out moments. There is a covered terrace overlooking the garden and pool. On the first floor there is a shower and toilet. There are no bedrooms.
The exterior walls of the house are 50 cm thick and therefore it is always pleasantly cool in the summer. In the bedrooms and in the dependance there is air conditioning available.
In short, Villa Morrovalle is an exclusive villa in Le Marche, ideal for pleasant moments with families or friends. Plenty of comfort and privacy.
Some reasons to visit Le Marche now in the autumn:
The scents of the harvest
Especially in the first part of autumn, the scents of the harvest invade the hills of the Marche, to have the new wine you will still have to wait, but the harvest offers many other delicacies: with the must, in fact, the very soft donuts that you will find in many bakeries enriched by scents of anise, must biscuits, perfect to be accompanied with cooked wine and sauces.
In Montecassiano the “sughetto” festival is held in the last week of September.
The new oil
Late October, early November is the month of the olive harvest, you will see many people working around the plants to collect the precious fruit. In this case, you don't have to wait: the new oil, with its intense green color, is immediately ready to be tasted and purchased. Don't miss the Cartoceto Dop.
Autumn also offers another delicious, sought after and highly appreciated product: the truffle. There are two most important events in the Marche dedicated to this tuber: the National White Truffle Fair of Acqualagna and Diamanti a Tavola in Amandola, dedicated to the prized white truffle of the Sibillini.
Visit the Marche in autumn: the quiet of the small villages
Certainly in the villages of the Marche you will not find large crowds even in July and August, but autumn, with its warm colors, is the ideal time to discover and stroll through the narrow streets of the Marche villages, where a beautiful view awaits you at every corner. It is difficult to recommend a village, just abandon the navigator, follow a less traveled road and you will certainly find a quiet and well-kept village to welcome you.
The foliage of the Canfaito beech forest
Here, however, on weekends you will find several people; now the centuries-old beech forest of Canfaito on the slopes of Mount San Vicino, in autumn attracts many photography enthusiasts who want to admire the warm colors of its foliage. If you can go during the week and don't forget to pop into Elcito.
The Marche in autumn: the Conero without stress
Ok the temperature is not suitable for swimming (even if in September if you are lucky you will be able to do it some days at sea) but the Conero without the summer crowds allows you to have many experiences, from biking to walking (I recommend two in particular: the one up to the viewpoint of the Passo del Lupo, and the one from the north viewpoint to the south viewpoint) as well as visiting the villages of Sirolo and Numana where do not miss the Antiquarium with the treasure of Queen Picena di Numana.
The art cities of the Marche
The 6 provincial capitals are perfect for being discovered on an autumn weekend, where you can enjoy art, discover museums and combine food and wine. Pesaro, Urbino, Ancona, Macerata, Fermo, Ascoli Piceno, are close but very different from each other, so each deserves at least a weekend to be known and appreciated.
The lively provincial town
The smaller provincial towns can offer you as many interesting weekends, to which you can also combine a tour of the surrounding villages. Any ideas? Senigallia, not to be experienced only in summer, Jesi with the art gallery and its brand new Stupor Mundi museum dedicated to Federico Secondo. Fossombrone, Fabriano, Tolentino, Civitanova Marche, San Benedetto del Tronto, San SeverinoMarche. In short, you will be spoiled for choice.
A healthy and wellbeing… shopping!
What if your autumn stay in the Marche was dedicated to shopping? Then the area between Civitanova Marche, Porto Sant’Elpidio and Montegranaro is for you. Outlets and company stores, from the most renowned to the smallest (write down these addresses) but with a very high quality they are up to you to renew the shoe rack for the whole family.
